Welcome to Swimming Pool Management Systems, Inc., your premier pool service company in Aurora, serving Warrenville, Naperville, and the surrounding areas for more than 38 years. SPMS began as Chicagoland’s first and most experienced full-service pool management company. As the Swimming Pool Management Systems, Inc. (“SPMS”) family of companies grew, SPMS took the lead in the service and repair of our client’s facilities. SPMS now services, maintains, and repairs the pool mechanical and filtration systems, pool surfaces, and deck features at Chicagoland’s finest commercial, community, and in-ground residential pools.
SPMS works together with our sister company, Pool Guards, Inc., which provides turn-key management and lifeguard-staffing for a variety of community, condo, and homeowners’ association pools. SPMS and Pool Guards can keep your pool running smoothly and in top condition for any budget.
SPMS History
SPMS was founded in 1983 by Ross Seymour, a former Australian Olympic swimmer. Ross initially did not have plans to follow his father’s footsteps into the pool business. However, after moving to the United States in 1972 on a swimming scholarship and representing his native Australia in the 1976 Olympics, Ross became a professor and head swimming coach at George Williams College in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Shortly thereafter, Ross capitalized on his passion for aquatics and founded SPMS to manage and repair pools throughout the Chicagoland area. After years of continued success, Ross expanded his portfolio of businesses to include Pool Guards, Inc., a turn-key solution to lifeguard-staffing and pool management, and the DuPage Swimming Center, a facility offering the best in swimming and water-safety instruction. SPMS now provides Chicagoland’s best service and repair staff, offering a range of services. Please see our “Services” page for a complete list of services available from SPMS.
Our Employees
SPMS’s employees are trained and certified by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (“APSP”) and are Certified Pool Operator (“CPO”) qualified. Combined, our technicians have over 100+ years of experience in the pool repair industry and undergo continual training to stay abreast of new innovations and technology in the field. This allows us to provide customers with the very best and latest repair techniques, ensuring a smooth pool season and years of cost-effective operation.
